KYC-Chain fact sheet

KYC-Chain is a compliance onboarding platform for regulated businesses. It verifies individuals (KYC) and companies (KYB), screens them against sanctions, PEP and adverse-media lists and keeps monitoring them, and screens crypto wallets, in one case file. Compliance teams configure what each customer must provide without code, and connect the platform by API, by iframe or through a white-labelled applicant portal.

Banks, fintechs, payment providers, crypto exchanges and other virtual asset service providers, iGaming operators, wealth and asset managers, fund administrators, and corporate and trust service providers.

Identity verification (KYC)

  • ID document verification: OCR of the data fields and the machine-readable zone, tamper and expiry checks, and the document types each customer accepts.
  • Selfie face match against the document photo, with liveness checks.
  • Applicants can start on a desktop and switch to a phone by scanning a QR code; data read from the document fills in the application.
  • Database checks against national ID registries, credit bureaus and address, phone and tax records in 37 countries, with consent collected per country: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Peru, the Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United States and Vietnam.
  • Duplicate-identity detection: the same document number or machine-readable zone appearing in more than one application is flagged.

Business verification (KYB)

  • Company search and registry profiles in 154 jurisdictions, including US states and Canadian provinces: registration details, activities, officers, capital and shareholdings.
  • Official registry documents ordered from inside the case.
  • Ownership structures for companies, LLCs, trusts, foundations and limited partnerships, with member roles such as director, shareholder, beneficial owner, trustee and protector, a shares registry and a hierarchy view.
  • Each member role and entity type can have its own KYC requirements, and members are invited to complete them.
  • KYB Concierge: specialists source and review official company records in 50+ jurisdictions.

AML screening and monitoring

  • Screening of individuals and companies for sanctions, politically exposed persons (four levels), adverse media, fitness and probity, regulatory enforcement and insolvency.
  • Adjustable match sensitivity, aliases, and filters by country and date of birth or incorporation.
  • Ongoing monitoring whose frequency follows each customer's risk level, from daily to annually, with alerts to the compliance team and a risk recalculation.
  • Match review: each hit is confirmed, marked a false positive or acknowledged, with a note and an explanation of what matched.
  • Periodic KYC refresh and reminders before identity documents expire.

Risk scoring and workflow

  • Risk scorecards for individuals and for companies, weighing sanctions and PEP results, FATF lists, the Corruption Perceptions Index, nationality, residency, business type, and IP addresses and devices.
  • Rules that warn, raise the risk level, ask the applicant for more information or reject, for example when the IP country differs from the declared residence.
  • KYC requirements built without code: standard and custom fields, questions, uploads, and document forms the applicant fills in and signs.
  • Four-eyes approval, granular roles and permissions, and an audit trail of every application and every configuration change.
  • Reports as PDF, exports as CSV and a full data export as ZIP.
